Happy Lunar New Year of the Snake! The celebratory period for most Asian communities runs from Jan. 29 to February 12, 2025. ACES will hold a New Year event for members and students on March 6, 5:00-7:00 pm, at Confucius Church, 1 California St., Salinas.

ACES seeks your support to purchase a 20 ft. container, which we will outfit to safely house our growing archival collection of Asian American historical items and images.
ACES Tri-Tip Fundraiser
Show you care, and have a great tri-tip meal! Pick up your meal at the Salinas Buddhist Temple on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, from 11:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m. The $50 meal feeds 4-5 people, and supports Republic Cafe restoration and the creation of a Chinatown Museum and Cultural Center.
Paraluman Fil-Am Fest
The 2nd Annual Paraluman Fil-Am Festival is on Sat., October 26! Save the date. Food, musical performances, dance, art, culture, and a lecture by author and Smithsonian curator Theo Gonzalves. Buddhist Temple 100th Anniversary Celebration
Celebration day starts with a grand service conducted by Bishop Harada of BCA, followed by a catered lunch in the gym. Cost of attending the celebration luncheon is $100/person, with commemorative souvenir included. Please RSVP by Sept. 12 to reserve. Event is open to all.
